(formerly X-Dream) have signed a long-term television distribution deal with Broadband Interactive Group (BIG), a leading next generation digital media company, to distribute Bluetorch, an action sports show produced exclusively by BIG's Bluetorch network. Under terms of the agreement, Extreme will distribute nearly 200 one-hour Bluetorch television programs internationally. Bluetorch is currently producing five one-hour programs per week of new action sports events and lifestyle shows. Bluetorch TV, which is seen in 70 million homes in the United States via FOX Sports Net, features surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding, bodyboarding, BMX, motocross, snowboarding and other extreme sports disciplines. The daily program has quickly become the authoritative guide to the action sports world, going beyond traditional event-based coverage to reveal and define the pure action sports lifestyles and attitude.

WEG 2000 will be staged as the alternative Olympics in Melbourne, Australia from December 1-3 following on from the Sydney Olympics in September.
